Edith A. Mackey, 94, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, died Thursday, February 25, 2010.

She was born Wednesday, November 24, 1915, in Elizabeth, NJ, daughter of the late Theobald and Amelia (Carlsen) Rasmussen.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Aurora, Homemakers Club, Avid reader and a member of the Bookies Book Club.

She worked as an Executive Secretary for Owens-Illinois.

She is survived by son, Bill (wife Ingrid) Mackey; sister, Oda Dickey; 4 grandchildren, Vicki, Karen, Julia, and Ann; and 5 great grandchildren, Matthew, Courtney, Natalie, Jesse, and William.

She was preceded in death by her husband George; son, Robert and daughter in law, Barbara.

Friends will be received Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 5pm to 8pm at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11am with Rev. Dana Stout officiating.

A private burial will follow.
