Thomas Floyd Fitch, 68, of Batesville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012.

He was born Sunday, October 17, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Dills) Fitch.

He was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church where he was not only in the choir but also choir director; graduated from Purdue University; and was also a member of the Purdue Marching Band.

He worked as a Salesperson for Batesville Casket Co..

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; 3 daughters, Tonia (Dan) Sunderman, Brenda (John) Currier, and Rebecca (David) Heimbuch; and 8 grandchildren, William and Claire Sunderman, Adeline, Trey, and Eleanor Currier, and Nolan, Chase, and Dawson Heimbuch.

Family and friends will be received Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 4pm to 7pm at the Greensburg United Methodist Church, Greensburg, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at Greensburg United Methodist Church, Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11am.

Interment will follow in the Rising Sun New Cemetery, Rising Sun, Indiana.

Contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or Phi Beta Psi National Project for Cancer Research.
