Ron Denney |
Ron Denney, pictured on the left, has been the owner of Fitch-Denney Funeral Home since 1973 and co-owner of Rullman-Hunger-Denney for 5 years. He is a 1966 graduate of Lawrenceburg High School. After graduating, Ron served his country in the U.S. Navy until 1969. He then attended and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Now he proudly serves his community as a funeral director.
Ron also serves his community with several organizations. He has been the Vice-Chairman of Dearborn Savings Board since 1976. He is a member of the Dearborn County Hospital Board for the past 5 years. Ron has served as a former President of the Lawrenceburg Kiwanis, President of the Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce and as the past Director of the District 8 Indiana Funeral Directors Association, Lawrenceburg Masons and Shrine Club.
He enjoys spending time with his family. His wife Bobbie, helps part-time at the funeral home since retiring from teaching. His 2 sons, Kris and Kelly and his 3 stepchildren, Matt and Sarah Cotherman and Rachael and husband, Steve Baudendistel help make the family a big and happy one.
His hobbies include playing the guitar and singing, fishing , playing golf and spoiling his grandchildren. |

Kris Denney |
Kris Denney, shown on the right, is Ron's son and has decided to follow his father's footsteps as a funeral director.
Kris, native of Lawrenceburg, Indiana is the son of Ron Denney and Carol Kleine-Purcell. He graduated from Lawrenceburg High School in 1994. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, stationed in Kings Bay Georgia aboard the nuclear powered submarine USS Maryland.
After graduating from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2002, Kris received his insurance license to sell pre-need products and his funeral director's license in 2003.
Kris is married to an Aurora native, Andrea Walston Denney and have 2 wonderful children, son Chase and daughter, Cadence. Kris is involved in his community through the Kiwanis Club, the Bright Christian Church, Aurora Little League, Lawrenceburg Masons and Shrine Club. |

Bill Steiner |
Bill is the newest member of our staff at the funeral home. He and his wife, Dena have been residents of Lawrenceburg for the past 21 years. They have 3 children, Steven, Andy and Holly.
Bill serves his community by being a member of the Lawrenceburg Fire Department, as well as the Knights of Columbus and St. Lawrence Church. He was an educator for 25 years but will be attending Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science beginning in March to become a licensed funeral director.
